Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
2. Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
3. Maintains regular attendance and punctuality
4. Performs preparation and analysis of samples of various matrices for various analytical methods
5. Analyzes, prepares samples, and performs QC for routine testing
6. Reviews, works up, and assembles all supporting data for work performed
7. Performs basic maintenance on equipment used for routine work
8. Reads, understands, and carries out SOPs required by EPA or company methods, governing agencies, clients, and internal QC department
9. Prepares standard solutions and other reagents as needed
10. Uses word processor and spreadsheet programs on PC
11. Disposes of all chemical wastes using approved methods
12. Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
13. Performs other duties as assigned
14. Works overtime as workload requires
This is a 2nd shift, full-time role: Monday - Friday 3pm-11:30pm. (Role can also be Sun-Thurs or Tues-Sat, if preferred).
Qualifications
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
* Associate degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field
* Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
* Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Ideal Candidates will have:
* Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology or related field
* Previous lab experience
