Nottingham calling: your new base awaits. You will be part of a team that uses advanced automation to plan routes and load vans, helping you stay focused on delivering smiles with each delivery.
Responsibilities and role details
Deliver groceries to customers as a Local Legend, ensuring timely, friendly, and accurate service. Engage with customers to provide excellent service and represent Ocado Logistics in a positive way. Some deliveries may involve handling alcohol products; you must be over 18 to apply.
Train and start your journey from the Dordon site between August 4 and August 22; by August 25, training and deliveries will transition to a brand-new Nottingham site. Any additional travel costs during this transition period will be fully covered by Ocado Logistics.
Contract and hours
Contract Type: Permanent
Contract Hours: 40 hours (including paid breaks)
Contracted days: You will be required to work any 5 days out of 7, with 8 hour shifts; further information provided during pre-boarding.
Shifts: AM & PM. You may start as early as 05:00 and finish as late as midnight. You will receive your shift rota up to 13 weeks in advance.
Pay Structure: Lunar pay — you will be paid every 4 weeks according to a monthly schedule. Salary: £13.15 per hour with the opportunity to earn overtime at time and a quarter plus paid breaks.
Qualifications and requirements
* Full UK or EU driving licence.
* Minimum of 6 months driving experience (12 months desirable).
* Maximum of 6 penalty points.
* No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years.
* Some deliveries involve handling alcohol products; you must be over 18 to apply.
* As this is a customer-facing role, good communication skills and the ability to deliver joy to customers.
