Job Description
Location: Swindon
Salary: £70,000
What you'll be doing:
Preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for tenders and ECI projects
Working with the Bid Manager and wider bid team to develop pricing strategies
Pricing labour, plant, materials, subcontractors, temporary works and preliminaries
Assessing supplier and subcontractor quotations and advising on best value options
Contributing to risk and opportunity assessments
Supporting tender submissions, settlements and project handovers.
What you'll need:
Sound knowledge of civil engineering and construction techniques
Knowledge of relevant procurement legislation
Commercial awareness of different forms of contract
Sound knowledge of the HOCHTIEF governance and procedural requirements for work winning.
Detailed knowledge of estimating software package.
