Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper Location: Buncrana Based Job Type: Full-time | Permanent | Office-based | Salary: €34,000 per annum Reed Accountancy are delighted to be partnered with a thriving commercial client in the Buncrana area in the appointment of an experienced Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper to join their dynamic team! The successful Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper will play a pivotal role in shaping accounting and control processes within a new line of business. This role offers significant responsibility from day one, allowing you to see the immediate impact of your work on the business's development. Day-to-day of the role: Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes. Handle credit control and conduct bank and payment provider reconciliations. Perform data entry on various accounting packages. Process payroll and conduct cost analysis. Manage VAT calculations and submissions. Prepare weekly and monthly financial plans and reports. Oversee general office administration tasks. Who are you? A self-starter who thrives both as a team player and on individual tasks. Possesses integrity and a strong focus on solutions rather than problems. Capable of making decisions and working independently. Skilled in managing multiple projects, effectively driving projects and deliverables as part of a team. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and information gathering skills. Excellent communication skills, able to convey information and concepts clearly and logically. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Ability to establish priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
