Overview of role:
The Welder/Fabricator will be responsible for effectively welding, fabricating, and generally preparing metalwork. Providing high quality components of Playdale products, ensuring on time delivery, profit maximisation and safety performance. Work closely with peers to ensure delivery of departmental and individual performance against set targets.

£25,392.00 - £32,592.00 per year (dependant on experience)
Full time 38 hours per week

Due to current growth in our city product range we have a vacancy for a Fabricator/Welder.
The Role
•Perform general fabrication and TIG welding of various forms of circular and square hollow section stainless steel fabrications.
•Use of a wide range of fabrication machinery.
•Using jigs to fabricate parts.
•Read, understand and follow job order specifications, engineering drawings and works order instruction.
•Maintaining good housekeeping standards.
The Person:
•Experience working with stainless steel and mild steel preferred but not essential.
•Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
•Flexible attitude to overtime when required.
•The ability to work as part of a team, with a flexible “can do” attitude to work and good work ethic is essential.
•Good communication and interpersonal skills.
This is a permanent, full-time position based at our Ulverston factory (38 hrs per week, with a 12.45pm finish each Friday)
