Group Functions Change supports the delivery of change across L&G’s central functions, ensuring initiatives are well governed, aligned to strategy and delivered effectively. The team supports functions such as Finance, HR, Risk, Technology, Procurement and Corporate Services. The role is based primarily in the Hove office, providing regular in person collaboration with your team members and project teams, as well as opportunities to work with stakeholders across the wider organisation. Your role at at a glance: As a Project Management Apprentice, you’ll help turn ideas into reality by supporting projects that make a real impact across the Group. You’ll complete the level 4 Project Management apprenticeship while working alongside experienced Project Managers. You'll learn on the job while building skills that are in demand across many careers. In this role, you’ll: Help plan and organise project activities Track progress and support reports and updates Work with different teams and stakeholders Learn how to manage risks, issues and deadlines Build confidence, professional skills and real-world experience We’re looking for someone ready to kickstart their career in project management. You don’t need experience — just enthusiasm, curiosity and a willingness to learn. Essential skills & behaviours A genuine interest in project management and how projects help deliver change A positive attitude to learning, including working towards a formal apprenticeship qualification Open to feedback and keen to learn from experienced project managers A proactive mindset – willing to ask questions, take ownership and suggest improvements Ability to work well as part of a team Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal Strong organisation and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks Good attention to detail, with confidence handling information and tracking actions Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or keen to develop these skills Qualifications: To qualify for the programme, you will need: GCSE Maths and English grade C/4 or equivalent Minimum 96 UCAS points from your Level 3 Qualifications i.e. A 'levels or equivalent To not currently be on a government funded training course, e.g. on apprenticeship To not hold a similar qualification at the same level or above e.g. you will not be eligible for this programme if you are APM PMQ or Prince2 qualified The right to work in the UK and have lived in the UK for the past 3 consecutive years.
