We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Bar Team Associate to join our vibrant establishment in Dartford, United Kingdom. As a key member of our bar team, you will play a crucial role in creating an enjoyable and welcoming atmosphere for our patrons.
* Greet customers warmly and take drink orders promptly and accurately
* Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
* Maintain a clean and organised bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
* Handle cash and card transactions efficiently and accurately
* Restock bar supplies and assist with inventory management
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods
* Provide knowledgeable recommendations on drink selections to enhance customer experience
* Enforce responsible drinking policies and age verification procedures
* Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar area for events or promotions
Qualifications
* Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
* Strong customer service orientation and ability to work well under pressure
* Basic maths skills for handling cash and card transactions accurately
* Knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including popular cocktails
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
* Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues
* Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred
* Personal Licence is desirable but not essential
* Food Hygiene Certificate is advantageous
* Must be at least 18 yearsof age to serve alcohol (as per UK law)
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
