Legal Assistant – Housing and Civil Litigation Team
The London Borough of Harrow is seeking legal assistants to join our Housing and Civil Litigation team. The successful candidate will support HB Public Law by performing legal work and developing, implementing, and supporting innovative practice management processes.
HB Public Law is a shared service among several local authorities in Northwest London and the home counties. Staff are employed by the London Borough of Harrow but serve multiple public sector clients.

About You
Skills and experience required:
* Educated to degree level or equivalent in law, or possess a recognized legal qualification, or be studying for one, or have substantial legal environment experience in lieu of formal qualification.
* Knowledge of English Law, practice, and procedures in public law, with an interest in local authority legal work.
* Strong team player with positive contribution skills.
* Ability to provide written and oral legal advice and guidance to officers and clients.
* Opportunity to manage your own cases and work on complex cases alongside senior lawyers.
* Proficient in MS Office applications.
