We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Team Leader to join our therapeutic children's residential home in Hillingdon, Uxbridge. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Support Worker ready to step into a leadership role and contribute to a safe, supportive, and child-centred environment.
About the Role
As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to children and young people in our residential setting. You will lead shifts, supervise staff, and help implement individual care plans that promote each young person's emotional, social, and educational development.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide direct care and emotional support to children and young people.
* Lead and coordinate shifts to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
* Support the creation and delivery of individual care plans.
* Maintain accurate and detailed records in line with regulatory standards.
* Promote safeguarding and positive behaviour management at all times.
* Liaise effectively with families, external agencies, and professionals to achieve the best outcomes.
Requirements
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – Essential
* Experience in a children's residential setting, ideally in a senior or leadership position.
* Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
* A resilient, empathetic, and child-focused approach.
* Sound knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.
* Full UK driving licence – Preferred
