Job Summary
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing core accounting functions, manage payment processes, completing or reviewing Ofgem RFIs (Requests for Information), and supervising other members of the team. This role requires, attention to detail, leadership capabilities and ideally industry knowledge
Responsibilities
1. Manage general ledger activities, journal entries, and month-end close
2. Oversee payment processing and ensure accuracy and timeliness
3. Prepare and respond to RFIs for internal and external stakeholders
4. Manage and mentor accounting team
5. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
