Senior Planner - Development Management Remote / Hybrid (minimum 1 day per month in office) £40-55 p/h (Depending on experience) 37 hours per week Job Ref - 65747 Take ownership of a varied and engaging planning caseload, working on minor, major, and strategic applications. Contribute to shaping local growth, prepare committee reports, undertake site visits, and collaborate with stakeholders across a dynamic planning environment. Key responsibilities: ·Manage a varied planning application caseload ·Prepare reports for delegated decisions and committees ·Support strategic and rural planning initiatives ·Undertake site visits and engage with stakeholders ·Assist with service improvements and mentor junior staff Requirements: ·Experience in Development Management across a mixed caseload ·Knowledge of planning legislation, policy, and rural issues ·Confidence preparing reports and presenting to committees ·Ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders Flexible remote/hybrid working, with minimum 1 day per month in office.
