We’re looking for an experienced and caring Mental Health Recovery Worker to join our dedicated team at Doncaster Crisis House – a CQC Registered home supporting with severe and enduring mental health challenges. Doncaster Crisis Accommodation provides short‑term support for people aged 16 experiencing a mental health crisis. The service offers four crisis beds for up to seven nights, giving individuals a safe and supportive environment while they stabilise and plan their next steps. Staff are available 24/7 to deliver emotional and practical support, helping people to manage their immediate situation and work towards resolving their crisis. The service operates in close partnership with the local Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team to ensure coordinated, person‑centred care. What will you do? Help individuals rebuild confidence and independence Support service users in achieving personal goals Provide one-to-one guidance and work alongside mental health agencies Build respectful, honest relationships while maintaining professional boundaries What we’re looking for: Experience supporting people with mental illness or in a social care setting (paid or voluntary) Great listening skills, empathy, patience, and kindness Ability to work with digital systems (Microsoft applications, email, internet) A commitment to our values and willingness to learn If you have transferable skills and a passion for helping others, we’d love to hear from you!
