Are you a passionate and driven Physics Teacher who can inspire students to explore the wonders of energy, motion, and the universe?

A leading secondary school in Oxford is seeking a dedicated Physics Teacher to join its thriving Science Department on a full-time basis from January 2026. This exciting role involves teaching Physics across KS3–KS5 in a high-achieving environment where academic success and teacher development go hand in hand.

Location: Oxford, Oxfordshire
Start Date: January 2026
Salary: MPS/UPS (based on experience)

About the School
This Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ 11–18 academy has a roll of approximately 1,300 students, including a large Sixth Form of over 350. The school prides itself on its excellent academic outcomes, with over 75% of pupils achieving grades 9–5 in English and Maths at GCSE and a strong record of A-level success.

The Science Department is exceptionally well resourced, with dedicated physics laboratories, cutting-edge technology such as laser optics kits, electronic equipment, and advanced data loggers, as well as strong technician support. Your Role:

* Deliver high-quality Physics lessons across KS3–KS5.

* Prepare engaging lessons that balance theory with practical experimentation.

* Track progress and provide targeted interventions to stretch and support all learners.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

* Hold a degree in Physics or a related subject.

* Have QTS (PGCE or equivalent).

* Be confident teaching Physics at KS4 and KS5.

* Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a passion for science education.

* Have the legal right to work in the UK.
