Your Role:
You are a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Officer, ready to join our team at Stanbroke's meat processing facility. You take pride in maintaining high standards of food safety, product quality, and compliance with regulatory requirements. With a strong understanding of QA systems in the food industry, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement, you help ensure our products meet the highest standards.
What You'll be Doing:
* Lead and support quality assurance programs across the site, including direction of laboratory operations.
* Stay on top of regulatory manuals, industry standards, and requirements to make sure everything runs smoothly and safely.
* Collaborate with QA staff, production teams, lab personnel, and management to make sure products meet quality and safety standards.
* Communicate effectively with government departments (DAFF), Aus-Meat, and customers on quality-related matters.
* Coordinate and take part in both internal and external audits of quality systems.
Who We're Looking For:
* You have solid experience in QA systems and technical roles within the meat or food industry, including HACCP.
* You have a strong understanding of customer audit processes and regulatory compliance.
* You are skilled in developing and maintaining quality management systems with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* You have excellent communicator with AUS-MEAT qualifications (Beef Specification Certification highly regarded).
* You are proactive, team-oriented, and tech-savvy, with experience in Microsoft Office and QA platforms like ILeader.
