Your Role as Third in Charge
As a vital member of our team, you will:
* Lead and inspire staff to ensure every child receives exceptional care and learning experiences.
* Create, plan, and implement engaging activities that support all aspects of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
* Open and close the nursery, stepping in for the Manager and Deputy Manager when needed.
* Design educational programs tailored to different age groups, fostering early childhood growth.
* Mentor and guide nursery staff, providing support and training as necessary.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
* Plan activities that inspire creativity, encourage social interaction, and promote physical development.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and safeguarding policies.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification: Essential
* Over 1 year’s experience in Early Years: Essential
* Over 6 months’ experience in a senior position: Desirable
* Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations: Desirable
* Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS: Essential
* Fluency in written and spoken English: Essential
