You will be working with parents who may have additional needs also such as Autism, ASD, ADHD ,poor mental health, substance concerns and other learning needs. To have 6 months prior experience in a healthcare setting To have previous experience with children as young as 5 years Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a basic knowledge of the sector To be confident in relation to intervention skills to Safeguard and meet the welfare of Children and Vulnerable adults To understand children’s rights, diversity and have previous experience with conflict resolution have knowledge regarding issues impacting on children and families such as Domestic Abuse, Learning Needs, Mental Health, Drug and Alcohol Misuse.
