Responsibilities
* Set up and adjust machinery for production runs according to job specifications and schedules.
* Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on production equipment to minimize downtime.
* Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to optimize production efficiency.
* Inspect products throughout the production process to ensure quality standards are met.
* Document machine settings, production quantities, and quality checks in compliance with company protocols.
* Collaborate with the production team to address any issues that arise during production.
* Assist in training new operators on machine functions and safety procedures.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a machine setter or similar role in a production environment.
* Strong understanding of machinery operations and settings, particularly in the food production industry.
* Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance.
* Attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
* Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts as needed.
* Basic math skills for measuring and adjusting machine settings.
