The role
Due to increasing workload, the Offshore Delivery Directorate within SSEN Transmission has an opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our expanding team and play a pivotal role in our project teams.
You will
* Manage the project accounts, raise purchase orders, ensure suppliers are paid on time and handle external supplier queries.
* Coordinate and prepare project-related meetings, ensure these are scheduled, attended and minutes are recorded to a high quality.
* Support the project team to meet Project Governance milestones and deadlines.
* Coordinate all project reporting and presentation packs – produced on time and to a high-quality standard.
* Assist with any additional project-specific administration duties.
You have
* Excellent administration and organisational skills; the role is busy and offers opportunity to learn about our business and interact with a wide range of stakeholders and project teams.
* A keen eye for detail and ability to prioritise workload, including meeting demanding deadlines; able to work on your own or as part of a team.
* A proven ability to problem solve and prioritise in an efficient, collaborative way with excellent communication skills.
* Experience in managing project finances would be beneficial.
* Sound understanding and experience working with multiple software packages and systems.
The role will involve travelling to different sites/offices with occasional nights away. A driving licence is essential.
