This is a hands-on role suited to someone reliable, practical, and comfortable working in an industrial environment.
Job Details
* Position:General Operative
* Hours:38 hours per week
* Working Hours:7:00am – 5:15pm
* Pay Rate:£13.50 per hour
* Employment Type:Temporary ongoing
* Holiday Pay:Accrued holiday pay
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting skilled fabricators and welders
* Handling steel materials and components
* General workshop duties including cleaning and maintenance
* Loading and unloading materials
* Adhering to health & safety procedures at all times
Requirements
* Previous experience in asteel fabrication or manufacturing environmentpreferred but not essential
* Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
* Ability to work well as part of a team
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
* Good health & safety awareness
