As the Telesales Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and motivation of your telesales team, ensuring they consistently achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs). You will be instrumental in the recruitment, training, and ongoing development of your team members, fostering a high-energy and positive sales environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and motivate a team of Telesales Executives to meet and surpass monthly and quarterly sales targets.
* Provide hands-on coaching, training, and development to enhance your team's sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service skills.
* Monitor team performance, providing regular feedback and conducting performance reviews.
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies and campaigns to drive revenue growth.
* Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and strategic adjustments.
* Manage and optimise the team's use of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring accurate reporting and forecasting.
* Act as a point of escalation for complex customer queries or complaints, ensuring swift and satisfactory resolutions.
* Work closely with senior management and other departments, including marketing and field sales, to ensure alignment and maximum sales potential.
* Conduct team recruitment, including writing job adverts, interviewing, and making hiring decisions.
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
* Proven experience leading a telesales or inside sales team within a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
* A strong background in the telecoms, IT, or a related technology sector.
* An inspirational and coaching-oriented leadership style with a proven track record of motivating teams to success.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
* The ability to analyse sales data, identify trends, and develop actionable plans.
* Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
* A resilient, professional, and confident demeanour, with the ability to lead by example.
