We are currently looking to permanently employ an Extrusion Operative. You may also be required to work within our Timber Production department.

This job is based out of our Huntly Factory – AB54 4PS
Job includes:
* Assisting with Setting up/Operating/Shutting down the PVC extrusion machine and mixer.
* Coordinating with Maintenance Engineer during problem solving, breakdowns and improvement efforts.
* Identifying faults and carrying out basic maintenance activities.
* Carry out general housekeeping activities within the work area.
* Comply with a 'clean as you go' policy
* Labouring
* Feeding the machine
* Stacking the Timber when it comes out of the machine
Requirements:
* Right to work in the UK
* Experience of working in a production environment
* Ability to be flexible and work without supervision.
* Competent in problem solving, planning and decision making.
* Ability to work under pressure, in quality & results driven environment.
* Positive approach with a continuous improvement mind-set
* Ability to communicate effectively in the English language in both verbal and written forms.
Benefits:
* Primary hours of work: 06:00-20:00 Monday, 07:00-20:00 Tuesday to Wednesday. However, your shift pattern will change to 07:30-16:30 Monday to Thursday, 07:30-13:30 Friday, depending on workload.
* Overtime available
* 29 days holiday including Bank Holidays
* £12.21 - £12.70 p/h depending on experience
