Overview
Location: Brecon Road, Hirwaun, CF44 9NN • Pay: £12.60 per hour • Contract: 12 hours per week + regular overtime, Permanent contract, Part time • Working pattern: varied shifts including early mornings (store opening), afternoons, late evenings (store closing) and weekends, to be discussed at interview. Role will include working in our in-store bakery. Full, paid training provided. You can apply for this role using your mobile device (no CV needed!). You must be aged 18 or over to apply for this role as it may involve working before 6am or after 10pm, or some other business-related needs.
What you’ll do
* Friendly and thoughtful service – put customers first in everything you do: responding to queries, championing Co-op products and Membership, working in our in-store bakery and delivering a great shopping experience.
* Work with store colleagues to solve problems for customers and members.
* Keep the store safe and legal – ensure shelves are stocked and that prices, dates and temperatures are correct.
* Help introduce new products and services – make changes feel natural, and share experiences with colleagues so everyone learns together.
* Support your local community – get involved in activities and events.
