Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Boutique Manager to lead our Purdey store at the Royal Berkshire. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales performance, cultivating client relationships, and ensuring the boutique reflects the unparalleled standards of the Purdey brand. Responsibilities
* Deliver a world-class, personalised service that embodies Purdey’s heritage and values.
* Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients while actively attracting new clientele to the brand.
* Oversee aftersales services, ensuring the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.
* Lead the boutique team to achieve and exceed sales and profitability targets.
* Analyse product performance and trends to provide commercial insights and recommendations.
* Motivate, coach, and inspire the team to deliver exceptional sales results.
* Maintain an impeccable luxury environment that aligns with Purdey’s brand vision and aesthetic.
* Ensure flawless execution of visual merchandising and seasonal displays to showcase the collections.
* Create an inspiring store layout that enhances the client experience and encourages exploration.
* Inspire, manage, and develop a high-performing boutique team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
* Recruit, train, and mentor talent, ensuring strong product knowledge, service expertise, and brand advocacy.
* Oversee stock management, replenishment, and accurate inventory control to optimise sales and minimise losses.
* Ensure smooth day-to-day operations that fully align with Purdey’s standards and procedures.
Experience & Qualifications
* Strong experience in boutique management, preferably within the luxury retail sector.
* Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and client relationship-building skills.
* A genuine passion for fashion, luxury retail, and/or the country lifestyle.
* Proven ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Flexibility to work a schedule that includes weekends and holidays.
* Basic proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office (or equivalent) suite.
