What you’ll be up to
We’re looking for a Social Media Assistant to help us make our social channels a place people actually want to hang out. If Instagram and TikTok feel like second homes, you’re usually ahead of the curve when it comes to social trends, and you don’t mind rolling up your sleeves to help the marketing team with the day-to-day stuff.
What you’ll be up to
You’ll spend most of your time helping our social channels look, sound and feel great. This includes:
* Planning, creating and scheduling engaging content across Instagram, TikTok and Facebook
* Shooting and editing short-form videos and reels (behind-the-scenes moments, front-of-house action, offers and promotions)
* Keeping an eye on social trends so our content stays fresh, relevant and not embarrassing
* Supporting marketing campaigns and promotional launches on social media
* Chatting with our community by supporting inbound and outbound engagement
You’ll also help keep the wider marketing team ticking along by:
* Scheduling emails
* Helping coordinate events and campaign tasks
* Print and fishing materials
* Pitching in with general day-to-day marketing and admin duties
What we’re looking for
You don’t need to know everything, but you do need to care.
* You’re naturally curious and love spotting social media trends early
* You’re organised, can juggle a few things at once, and usually hit your deadlines
* You’re a good communicator, whether that’s writing captions or chatting with teammates
* You’re comfortable using platforms like Instagram and TikTok (bonus points if you enjoy it)
* You work well with others and aren’t afraid to ask questions
* You notice the small stuff, spelling mistakes, awkward cuts, or a caption that just doesn’t feel right
The important bit
This role supports the daily operations of the Marketing Team, so you’ll be a key part of making things happen, creatively and practically. Some days you’ll be filming content, other days you’ll be printing and finishing materials. Both matter.
