Facilities Caretaker Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Caretaker to join our client in Wrexham. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, maintenance, and security of our facilities. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform routine cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
2. Conduct basic maintenance tasks including light bulb replacements, minor repairs, and furniture assembly.
3. Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed.
4. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
5. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently.
6. Carry out security checks and ensure all doors and windows are securely locked.
7. Assist with setting up and dismantling equipment for events or meetings.
8. Report any maintenance or security concerns to the Facilities Manager.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
* Strong attention to detail and task prioritization skills.
* Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
* Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
