Your Role as a Support Worker:
As a Support Worker, you'll help individuals with learning disabilities live as independently and happily as possible. You'll offer practical and emotional support while encouraging personal growth and inclusion in the community.
Supporting with daily living tasks such as personal care, cooking, and medication
Supporting social and community engagement
Building meaningful relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
Maintaining accurate care records and contributing to personalised care planning
Located in Bedford, Shakespeare House is a specialist supported living service for adults with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, and complex needs. With 24-hour staffing and access to neighbouring care home facilities, the service promotes independence while ensuring round-the-clock support.
