Pay, benefits and more:
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £60,000 DOE, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:
Support the development and integration of the Lean strategy across the business through a defined roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of key projects.
* Partner with site leaders to identify and deliver improvement opportunities.
* Lead strategic initiatives, DMAIC projects, workshops, and training sessions focused on improving Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery & People (SQCDP), engaging teams to deliver sustainable change.
* Leverage data-driven insights to shape strategic decisions and business cases and ensure financial accountability for all improvement initiatives, tracking progress against defined targets.
* Champion the deployment of the 8 Principles of Operational Excellence across the network, positioning GXO Screwfix as a leader in best practice.
* Through hands-on coaching and mentoring, drive the building of Lean capability within the Lean team and across the wider network, creating a sustainable cohort of Lean Champions.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
A successful track record of implementing Lean / Continuous Improvement in supply chain, head office, and service environments and ideally in Transport / Logistics.
* Proven experience in leading and coaching teams, with a strong ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and drive engagement.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze and present data visually to support business cases and track improvements.
* Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification (or equivalent) is desirable.
