Hours: 8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Thursday and Friday 4pm
Salary: £32,000 - £34,000 starting salary

Role Overview
The Field Service Engineer role is available in a highly successful manufacturer of forklift trucks. The role will suit those looking to join an employee driven company offering comprehensive training and support.
The role is suitable for engineers from any kind of plant – forklifts, HGV, agricultural, cleaning equipment or similar. It also presents a great career opportunity for vehicle technicians looking to move into a new industry, as the company will fully train. Applicants need to demonstrate mechanical service and repair skills, ideally with engine diagnostic and some basic electrical skills.
As part of a team of engineers, you will be responsible for carrying out service and repairs on a range of forklifts in and around Gloucester. No stay away or extensive travel is required. Excellent on‑target earnings are available through overtime and commission.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and breakdown service on materials handling machinery on a field service engineering basis
* Reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical area
* Complete comprehensive training to become fully competent on all machinery and equipment
* Keep spares updated in van overnight
Desired Profile
* Experience with plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment, automotive technicians/motor trade
* Ideally hold a Level 3 or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject
* IT literate
