Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide assistance and support to individuals in need, helping them to lead fulfilling lives. This role involves working closely with individuals to understand their needs, promote independence, and enhance their overall well-being.
Responsibilities
Assist service users with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
Support service users in accessing community resources and services.
Foster a positive and encouraging environment that promotes independence and self-esteem.
Maintain accurate records of service users' progress and any incidents that occur during shifts.
Collaborate with other professionals and family members to develop individual care plans tailored to each service user's needs.
Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field.
Skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with service users and team members.
Empathy and patience when dealing with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with varying needs.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility in approach.
Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to care work is beneficial.

Multiple shifts available between 8 am and 10 pm, including weekends
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
