Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to support the delivery of highways, drainage and infrastructure projects from feasibility through to construction.You will work closely with senior leadership, managing project delivery, supporting junior engineers and contributing to the ongoing growth of the business. The company offers genuine career progression, flexible working arrangements and continued professional development support.Main DutiesLead Civil Engineering design from feasibility and pre-planning stages through to detailed design and construction supportPrepare and review reports, drawings, calculations and supporting documentationManage and deliver statutory approvals including Private Street Determination and Article 161 submissionsProduce detailed designs and calculations for highways and drainage infrastructurePrepare 3D ground models and undertake cut-and-fill analysis, volume calculations and vertical alignment design using Civil 3DCoordinate with planning consultants, architects, clients and external agencies throughout project lifecyclesRepresent the business at client meetings, planning consultations, design workshops and stakeholder eventsUndertake site inspections where requiredManage project programmes and monitor delivery against agreed timescalesEnsure designs are coordinated across all disciplinesMentor and support junior engineers and contribute to wider team developmentExercise due care and diligence in all aspects of engineering design and detailingProduce scope variations and identify additional fee opportunities where appropriateSupport fee proposals and bid submissionsAssist in maintaining and developing client relationships and identifying follow-on opportunitiesThe role & skills required:Reporting to the Associate Director and Office Lead, the successful Senior Civil Engineer will be responsible for leading and delivering Civil Engineering design projects across a range of sectors.
