Hospital Administrator Admin Bank / Flexible Working Solihull, Birmingham Competitive salary, depending on experience Flexible Working Spire Parkway Hospital are looking for an experienced administrator to join the team on a flexible basis. This is a bank position covering sickness and annual leave. Spire Parkway Hospital in Solihull, West Midlands offers a comprehensive range of private hospital services. Our hospital is rated Good by the CQC for all parts of the inspection except for Patient Care, which is rated Outstanding. The report states, "Staff treated patients with compassion and kindness, respected their privacy and dignity, took account of their individual needs, and helped them understand their conditions. They provided emotional support to patients, families and carers." Duties and responsibilities: Ensuring a meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, Manage the telephone lines in an effective and timely manner Manage and process patient referral letters and any associated documentation, confirming details with patients/consultants and secretaries as appropriate Process patient appointment letters and any associated documentation, confirming details with patients/consultants and secretaries as appropriate Respond to enquiries from patients, members of the public and consultants in a timely, courteous, and efficient manner either by telephone or letter Who we're looking for: Experience working in customer service, ideally with administration A great communicator who can build a strong rapport with a range of stakeholders The flexibility to work the required hours You will need a passion for customer service and be someone who takes pride in what they do Must be a good communicator, excellent telephone manner, have good computer literacy with experience and knowledge of Excel, Word and customer data bases Working Hours: Flexible adhoc shifts anytime between 7am-9pm, dependant on department.
