We have a variety of positions available across different teams, including: Community-Based Treatment Services:

Provide assessments, coordinate treatment, and partner with others to support individuals. Deliver structured psycho-social interventions in both group and one-on-one settings to help service users develop the skills they need for lasting change. Homeless Outreach Provision:

Target homeless individuals with a flexible outreach response, assisting those who are sleeping rough or living in temporary accommodation. Criminal Justice Rehabilitation/Recovery Services:

Collaborate closely with Probation Services, Prisons, and Police to offer rapid, tailored support for individuals on their recovery journey. Whether you aspire to move into management or specialize as an Advanced Substance Use Practitioner, we’re here to support you every step of the way! Your Role as a Recovery Worker

As a Recovery Worker, you’ll act as a ‘key worker’ for a caseload of service users, guiding them in setting and achieving their treatment goals. Your responsibilities will include: Maintaining regular contact with clients and offering advice, information, and psycho-social interventions. Conducting assessments and risk management planning. Collaborating with clinical staff on prescribing needs and partner agencies. No two days will be the same! You’ll need to communicate effectively with a diverse range of service users and colleagues, manage multiple tasks, and embody the values of Turning Point. Whether you have lived experience of substance use, mental health, or homelessness, or simply a strong desire to support others, we have a role for you! Are You the Ideal Candidate?

We’re looking for individuals who: Have previous experience as a Recovery Worker. Understand the challenges and opportunities faced by individuals on their recovery journey. Possess transferable skills from backgrounds such as mental health, housing, or health and social care. Exhibit flexibility and the ability to work dynamically in both one-on-one and group settings. Communicate effectively and share our organizational values. We value creativity and initiative. Your ideas will be heard, and we’ll support you with extensive training to develop your skills.
