Senior Civil Engineer – Highway & Below-Ground Drainage
Location: Cambridge
Our client, a leading civil engineering and transport firm, is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their Cambridge team, delivering high-value highway and drainage projects. This role offers hands‑on responsibility and the chance to lead complex infrastructure schemes.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Lead design and engineering for highway and below-ground drainage projects across residential, commercial, and industrial developments.
* Manage projects ranging from £10M to £100M in construction value.
* Provide technical guidance on complex civil engineering challenges, from land development to multi‑unit residential sites.
* Collaborate with architects, planners, and contractors to ensure projects meet quality, schedule, and budget requirements.
What We’re Looking For:
* Strong Civil 3D experience – this will be your core design tool.
* Proficiency with Flow/Costway and AutoCAD.
* Experience delivering large-scale building, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
* Background in land development or interest in residential and mixed‑use schemes.
* Proven ability to manage complex designs and mentor junior engineers.
