Salary: £34,914.86 to £43,437.09
Working Pattern: 36 or 18 Hours per week (preference to be discussed at interview stage)
Location: Fife Wide (Location preference will be discussed at interview stage based on current vacancies.)
Responsibilities
* Assess, plan, implement, monitor and review the individual care plans using National Care Standards, establishing and maintaining sound administrative systems including service user records, medication management and stock control, rotas, attendance, risk assessment and compliance with health and safety, data protection and confidentiality policies.
* Provide on‑the‑job coaching, oversee and monitor working practices, collaborate with other professionals and apply sound practice and knowledge.
* Promote independence and social inclusion, maintain high care standards by building strong partnerships with health, statutory and voluntary agencies and mapping community resources.
* Provide care and support that meets Health and Social Care standards and work flexibly and creatively within a dynamic and ambitious team.
Qualifications
* Practice qualification – SVQ Social Services and Healthcare at SCQF level 7 or equivalent.
* Supervisory qualification – 15 credits at SCQF level 7 covering supervision/management theory and practice for a care‑home supervisor.
* Full qualification – SVQ Social Services and Healthcare at SCQF level 9.
* PVG scheme membership (through Disclosure Scotland).
* SSSC registration, to be achieved within six months of appointment.
