Learning Support Assistant - Secondary School | Birmingham | Start ASAP
West Midlands / Temporary / £90 - £110 per day
About the Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will support students with additional needs, working one-to-one or in small groups to help them succeed academically and emotionally. You will collaborate with teaching staff to ensure every student has the opportunity to thrive.
* Support students with special educational needs (SEN) in and out of the classroom
* Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management
* Encourage positive learning behaviors and inclusion
* Monitor and record student progress
* Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
Ideal Candidate:
* Experience working with children or young people, ideally in a school setting
* A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
* Relevant qualifications or willingness to undertake training
Additional Requirements:
All applicants must be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
