Role Description
We are looking for nurses to work in Manchester area.
Mental health nurses provide care to people with a range of mental health needs, as well as offering support to carers.
Depending on which service you work in, this could be in the community or on an inpatient ward on a hospital site. There are services that specifically look after older people with dementia or age-related issues, as well as services designed to support children and young people.
As a mental health nurse, you will assess a patient’s needs and be involved in the planning, implementation and evaluation of care packages for that person. You will usually work with other health and social care professionals to make sure the individual has all the support for their needs.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and clinical assessments
* Strong communication skills for patient education and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
* Attention to detail for maintaining accurate patient records and adhering to care plans
* Knowledge of healthcare safety regulations and compliance standards
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
* Current RMN NMC number
* Experience in UK based hospitals
