Are you an experienced Civil Infrastructure Engineer ready to deliver meaningful, sustainable projects? Join a leading multidisciplinary consultancy designing the next generation of liveable cities working out of their office in Chester.
You’ll work closely with architects, planners, and developers to deliver integrated infrastructure that supports regeneration, housing, and transport across the UK.
The Role
You’ll take ownership of design delivery from feasibility through to construction, leading elements of drainage, highways, utilities, and earthworks while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating across disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver detailed infrastructure design for complex, multi-phase developments.
* Prepare technical reports, drainage strategies, and planning submissions.
* Liaise with local authorities, utilities providers, and clients.
* Use tools such as Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, Flow, or InfoDrainage.
* Ensure design quality, compliance, and sustainable outcomes.
About You
* Degree-qualified Civil Engineer, ideally working towards Chartered status (MICE).
* 4-7 years’ UK-based design experience.
* Strong understanding of SuDS, S278/S38 highways, utilities, and site levels.
* Familiar with DMRB, Sewers for Adoption, CIRIA C753.
* Collaborative, proactive, and passionate about sustainable design.
