The purpose of this role is to influence a real step change in the carbon and environmental culture, capability, and performance, in order to build a culture dedicated to continuous improvement and best practice. This stand-alone role is based within their Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality team, and will support all areas of the business and our clients with specialist advice and support. This role requires a collaborative approach as you will be facilitating cross-function engagement with our senior team on strategy development and implementation. Key Responsibilities - Developing and implementing meaningful carbon reduction strategies in line with our business plan and the objectives of our clients. Maintaining environmental compliance and controls in line with ISO 14001, PAS 2080 and industry best practice Actively identifying and implementing sustainability best practice trends (e.g. carbon accounting, biodiversity improvement, circular economy, social impact, etc.) Act as the main point of contact with the Environment Agency, other enforcing authorities and external audit bodies as required.
