The Role
We're seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with strong SolidWorks skills to produce high–quality drawings and CAD models for our range of Special Purpose Equipment. This is a fast–paced role with varied customer requirements, alongside opportunities to contribute to process improvements and technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce SolidWorks models, GA drawings, and maintain the standard parts library.
* Create customer approval, production, and as–built drawings, including GA and P&ID schematics.
* Review drawings and calculations.
* Manage engineering change requests.
* Liaise with suppliers and internal teams.
* Run small engineering projects from start to finish.
* Prepare technical documents such as datasheets and O&M content.
Skills & Experience
* Experience designing mechanical/electrical equipment
* Strong SolidWorks skills essential.
* Knowledge of sheet metal, fabrication, and steelwork beneficial.
* Electrical knowledge, AutoCAD 2D, and Revit experience advantageous.
