About the Role
As a Class 1 Driver, you will:
* Carry out a variety of transport duties, including long-distance and pallet network trunking, multi-drop deliveries, and operating curtain-sided trailers, with flexibility to meet changing workloads.
* Provide transport services for multiple depot-based customers, ensuring their handling and delivery requirements are met professionally.
* Operate curtain-sided and refrigerated vehicles, ensuring correct loading, secure transport, and temperature control where needed.
* Complete thorough daily vehicle checks using the company mobile device and report any defects promptly.
* Stay in regular contact with the transport team to give progress updates, highlight delays or issues, and support effective customer service.
