Reading (office + site based) £40ph (Umbrella) Contract until May 2027
We’re looking for an experienced Small Works Surveyor to support delivery of PPM and minor works projects across the Reading area.
You’ll be managing a range of small projects from start to finish – making sure they’re delivered on time, within budget, and to a good standard.
What you’ll be doing:
* Managing planned maintenance (PPM) and small works projects
* Overseeing contractors on site
* Making sure works meet spec and H&S requirements
* Handling multiple jobs at once
* Producing basic reports and updates
What they’re looking for:
* Experience delivering PPM / small works
* Background in project or contract management (property/construction)
* Degree in Building Surveying (or similar)
* Ideally RICS (or working towards)
* Good communication skills
* Social housing / local authority experience would help
Location:
* The role will require office attendance and site visits within the Reading area
