The role will be based in our Uxbridge head office. What You'll Do: Acting as first Point of Contact for all employees, former employees, line management, and internal HR team on people queries, escalating to the appropriate HR stakeholder as required. Taking personal initiative to conduct ongoing research and partnering with colleagues to resolve more complex issues and reduce escalations as well as proactively maintaining an appropriate knowledge of UK employment legislation and company changes that impact HR policies, practices, procedures and services. Responsible for all HR support tasks i.e., contracts/amendments, Oracle Fusion system updates & maintenance, onboarding documentation, access requests, processing employee life cycle changes etc. Maintaining and updating the HR systems daily, updating employee records where required ensuring data is 100% current and accurate. Maintenance of HR mailbox ensuring all e-mails responded to within agreed timelines. Maintain documentation of all incoming inquiries and keeps detailed notes on actions taken. Maintain electronic employee records in accordance with records retention policies and departmental policy and procedure. Support all internal, external & SOX HR Audits Develop a general understanding of policy and procedure and be able to help others navigate HR processes (i.e.: New Hire Process, HR Policies and Procedures, absence, HR reporting, HR file maintenance, HR sharepoint maintenance/updating). Monitoring the probation period for new employees, liaising with line managers, and ensuring relevant letters are sent out and actioned appropriately. Manage and support training and development programs. Assist and support in performance management processes as required. Note-taking at HR related meetings where applicable. Collects and compiles HR metrics and data from a variety of sources, including HRIS system, payroll outputs, management and employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, and other sources. Produce Key Performance Indicator data and HR reports as required. Involvement in and ownership of ad-hoc HR projects or project support. Proactively drive/ project manage process improvements on continuous bases using a Lean philosophy to increase HR efficiency and effectiveness. Fluency in English (oral and written) Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong admin skills required. Education in Business or Human Resource Studies preferred. Previous experience in a HR environment highly preferable. Strong computer skills including experience with MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook. Experience with HRIS systems advantageous. Strong customer service acumen, positive attitude and initiative. Excellent team player with willingness to support other colleagues as needed. High level of focus and attention to detail and accuracy including in routine tasks Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions and locations. Flexible and adaptable; ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations. Results driven, ability to make decisions and help solve problems.
