The Opportunity
An established and growing HVAC specialist is looking to recruit a dependable and experienced Air Conditioning (FGAS) Engineer to support a strong pipeline of contracted work.
This is a field-based role focused primarily on planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across commercial sites, with additional reactive and breakdown work as required.
Work is consistently scheduled in advance, offering stability, structure, and a clear view of your upcoming workload.
Due to continued growth and a high volume of secured contracts, there is guaranteed work and long-term opportunity within a supportive and well‑organised team.
The Role
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on air conditioning systems
* Attending reactive breakdowns and fault‑finding when required
* Servicing and maintaining a range of AC systems (predominantly F‑Gas related)
* Completing all works in line with health & safety standards
* Updating job reports via PDA/mobile system
* Delivering a high level of customer service on client sites
Work is typically scheduled one week in advance, with clear daily planning and realistic time allocation.
What We're Looking For
* Minimum 4-5 years' experience in engineering
* F‑Gas certification (essential)
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) preferred
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
* A reliable, self‑sufficient engineer who is comfortable working independently
* Willingness to travel within your region (with very occasional wider travel if required)
