Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental laboratory technician to join our expanding team. Apprenticeship and entry level technicians welcome to apply, GDC registered for entry level preferred. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. As a Dental laboratory technician, you will play a crucial role in the fabrication of dental prosthetics and appliances, ensuring high standards of patient care and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and construct dental prosthetics and appliances.
* Follow dental prescriptions and communicate effectively with dentists.
* Use CAD/CAM technology
* Follow a digital work flow
* Maintain clean and safe laboratory practices.
* Ensure all work is delivered on schedule and to specification.
Requirements
* A keen interest to learn to work with various dental materials (e.g., ceramics, acrylics, metal).
* Knowledge of dental anatomy and technical terminology is preferred
* Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
* Team-oriented with good communication skills.
Desirable (but not essential):
* Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., 3Shape, Exocad) Preferred but not essential
* Certification or relevant qualification in dental technology preferred but not essential
