About the Role Following the award of funding for a three-year period, we have an exciting opportunity for a Care & Repair Administration Assistant to join our team on a full-time, fixed-term basis. Caledonia Care and Repair provide an essential service to older and disabled people across Perth & Kinross and Angus, helping them to live independently, safely, and comfortably in their own homes. The service delivers: Small repairs Medical adaptations Ramp installations General advice and support Working in partnership with local authorities, we make a real difference to people’s quality of life. Key responsibilities In this important support role, you will provide administrative and operational assistance to the Care and Repair Officers and Team Leader. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting the processing of grant applications and funding claims Liaising with customers, contractors, and partner organisations Maintaining accurate records and data entry across systems Assisting with financial monitoring and reporting Supporting KPI reporting and performance tracking Managing general administrative tasks to ensure smooth service delivery About You Essential A proactive, organised, and flexible approach to work Strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service Ability to prioritise tasks and manage a varied workload Good communication skills, with the ability to work with a range of customers and stakeholders Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Experience in data entry, record keeping, and administrative systems Knowledge of financial processes, monitoring, or reporting An HNC (or equivalent) in a relevant subject (or equivalent practical experience) would be advantageous. As would experience working in a housing, local authority or care-related environment, using database systems and producing KPI reports.
