Deputy Team Leader
As a Deputy Team Leader, you’ll ensure our young people receive the best care and support. This role involves working directly with young people and assisting the Care Manager to promote outstanding childcare practices within the school.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supervise Key Workers, encouraging effective evaluation, monitoring, planning, and reviewing for each young person.
2. Maintain full and accurate casework records and make sound decisions during case conferences, reviews, and planning meetings.
3. In the absence of the Team Leader, oversee all residential admin and childcare functions and be responsible for the school during specific evenings and weekends, including sleep-in duties when required.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience in residential childcare.
* Ideally, a Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent.
* Ability to build strong relationships with children and parents.
* Resilience and understanding of the challenges involved.
* Full UK driving licence.
