Quantity Surveyor - Fit Out (Retail Focus)
Hill McGlynn is proud to be working in partnership with a well-established and growing fit out contractor to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team based in Whitstable.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic business delivering high-quality fit out projects across the retail sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account.
Managing all aspects of the commercial lifecycle of fit out projects
Procurement of subcontractors and suppliers
Monitoring project costs, variations, and cash flow
Conducting valuations and agreeing final accounts
Working closely with project managers and site teams to ensure financial efficiency
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the fit out sector
Strong background in retail fit out projects (highly desirable)
Good understanding of commercial processes and contract administration
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Relevant construction qualification (preferred but not essential with strong experience)
Competitive salary of £50,000 - £60,000
