We’re looking for a committed Personal Advisor to support care‑experienced young people aged 16–25 as they transition into adulthood. You’ll work closely with them to access housing, education, health services, and financial support, helping them feel safe, stable, and empowered.
Key Details
 * Location: Manchester
 * Contract: 3-month temporary (with potential to go permanent)
 * Pay: £17.60 per hour
 * Hours: Monday to Friday, between 08:00 – 20:00
 * DBS: Enhanced required
 * Driving Licence: Essential – must have access to a vehicle
Responsibilities
 * Manage a caseload and maintain accurate records
 * Support Pathway Plan assessments and reviews
 * Help young people access education, training, housing, and financial support
 * Promote welfare and ensure their voices are heard
 * Coordinate services and monitor progress
 * Work flexibly to meet individual needs
 * Partner with agencies to deliver holistic support
Requirements
 * Experience working with care‑experienced young people
 * Strong communication, planning, and problem‑solving skills
 * Knowledge of relevant legislation (Children Act, Leaving Care Act, etc.)
 * Ability to work independently and as part of a team
 * Full UK driving licence and daily access to a vehicle
 * Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
