Teaching Assistant - Primary School (Harrow)
Warm, community-minded primary in Harrow is looking for a Teaching Assistant to support across KS1/KS2. Lovely behaviour, friendly staff, and a Head who genuinely invests in support staff.
The role
In-class support, small groups and some 1:1 (literacy & numeracy focus)
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo
Build confidence, routines and independence with pupils
Track progress and keep simple records
You'll have
Recent TA / classroom experience (primary preferred)
Calm, patient approach with empathy, patience and flexibility
Confidence supporting children with SEND (ASD/ADHD) is a plus
Right to work in the UK + Enhanced DBS (or willing to apply)
Details:
Location: Harrow
Start: ASAP or September
Hours: 8:30-3:30, term-time only
Pay: £90-£110 per day (umbrella), depending on experience
Contract: Long-term (temp-to-perm available)
