ITT provision
At Immanuel College, we are committed to nurturing and developing colleagues entering a career in secondary education. We host trainees from various local and national ITT providers, ensuring high-quality support.
The BDAT ITT program offers hands-on experience, where trainees teach in two contrasting secondary schools, grounded in pedagogy and research. Each trainee has a subject specialist mentor and dedicated one-to-one support to develop effective teaching practices.

ECT provision
We support our Early Career Teachers (ECTs) through a two-year program led by an experienced Assistant Head Teacher, including pedagogy studies, coaching, and subject development. Our program provides pedagogical and pastoral support, including networking opportunities and well-being support from our chaplaincy team.
We are dedicated to retaining high-quality teachers and are registered with the DfE wellbeing charter, offering various well-being activities and support spaces.
